Building haskell package software

Hi,

I'm willing to distribute an haskell package (
https://github.com/begriffs/postgrest) on debian, since I think it will be
useful as a software in *official *repoitories.

As I have understood (long time ago), the package has to be build with ghc
(not stackage).

As I read on https://wiki.debian.org/Haskell/CollabMaint/Processes, I can
build this package with stackage.

Could I use stackage, or should I use the built-in haskell toolchain ?
