Bug#853870: xmonad taking up all display space in workspace 1 hiding xmobar

Package: xmonad
Version: 0.12-5+b1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Using xmonad and xmobar in xmonad workspace 1 puts xmobar in background. When no program is running xmobar is visible, when program windows are open in workspace 1, they take up all the wrokspace no mather which layout, and makes it impossible to see and use xmobar. However, other workspaces work fine. Using several configuration files or none (default configurations) doesn't fix up the issue.
