Bug#941425: Doesn't start up due to missing image

Package: termonad
Version: 0.2.1.0-2
As I attempt to start up termonad, it prints this error message and quits:
termonad: Failed to open file
“/usr/share/termonad/img/termonad-lambda.png”: No such file or
directory (4)
Placing any picture there makes it start up. A picture of this name is
available in its git repo.
I haven't tampered with this software, haven't tried to create any
config file or anything like that. The missing file is not shipped by
any Debian package.
[On a side note:
Unless I'm really missing something, it looks like it's been unusably
broken for 9 months and not a single bugreport arrived. Could this
mean that the package has zero users, apart from the packager person
(for whom it might work due to a manually installed file)? If so,
shouldn't it be dropped from the distro?]
cheers,
egmont
