Thank you very much for working on this.

I did extensive analysis of DHG monorepo and Debian as a whole with D. Code
Search

I found only two Haskell packages using  cdbs slightly differently:
"pandoc" and "happy:.

pandoc has been fixed already

The other makefiles are very formulaic
