EUROPOLin tietotekniikkaosaston Euroopan tietoverkossa suorittaman tutkimuksen yhteydessä olemme havainneet, että kuulutte niihin henkilöihin, jotka harjoittavat internetissä kiellettyjä toimia, erityisesti:
-  kiellettyjen tai salattujen verkkosivustojen vierailu,
-  lapsipornografisten kuvien (verkkopornografia), laittoman tai haitallisen pornografian katselu ja/tai levittäminen
-  pedofilia, seksuaalisten käytäntöjen esittäminen ja levittäminen internetissä,
-  laittomalla pääsyllä tietojärjestelmään ja yleisesti ottaen kaikkiin siihen liittyviin säädyttömiin tekoihin.
Rikotte näin ollen alaikäisten suojelua ja siveellisyyttä koskevia lakeja. Teot ovat erittäin vakavia ja voivat vahingoittaa huomattavasti toimintaanne ja mainettanne. Virastomme aloittaa välittömästi menettelyn teitä vastaan. Pyydämme teitä vastaamaan hienovaraisesti ja ainoastaan sähköpostitse ilmoittamalla meille motiivinne. Tarkastelemme sen jälkeen sovellettavia seuraamuksia ja mahdollisia toimia.
Teidän on toimittava nopeasti vastaamalla suoraan tähän sähköpostiin.

As part of an investigation conducted on the European computer network by EUROPOL’s IT division, we have established that you are among those engaging in prohibited activities on the internet, including:
-   Visiting prohibited or encrypted websites,
-   Viewing and/or distributing images of child pornography (cyber child pornography), illegal or harmful pornography
-  paedophilia, and the depiction and promotion of sexual practices via the Internet,
-  Illegal access to a computer system and, generally speaking, all indecent acts associated therewith.
You are therefore in breach of the laws on the protection of minors and public decency. These are very serious offences and could cause considerable harm to your business and reputation. Proceedings are being initiated against you immediately by our department. We ask that you respond discreetly and exclusively by email, setting out your reasons. We will then consider the applicable penalties and possible courses of action.
You must act swiftly by replying directly to this email.
Should we receive no reply from you, we shall regard this as a flight from justice and shall be obliged to charge you and order your immediate arrest and detention at the Detention Centre of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
