[Pkg-heka-maint] Help proposal for hindsight luasandbox packages

Hi,

I am currently building a platform with hindsight at heart. I was glad to 
see that debian stretch had packages available for it.

I couldnt help but notice that versions were lagging a bit behind. After 
digging a bit further i stumbled upon [4].

I did checkout [1] [2] and [3]. I was wondering, what the expected git 
workflow for upgrading ? I thought i could add the remote upstream then 
merge on upstream tag release.

Would you be interested in some help ?
