If you want jimi to interract with fop, you'll need to have jimi
installed at build time of fop. And now, magic Debian:
# apt-get devscripts fakeroot
# apt-get build-dep libfop-java
$ apt-get source libfop-java
Install jimi and put the jimi-1.0.jar in /usr/share/java, then, go to
fop-x.y directory. Modify the debian/rules file and add jimi-1.0 at the
end of the 'DEB_JARS' line. Then add a changelog entry with
$ dch -v 1:0.20.5-2.jimi.support
And the you can rebuild the package:
$ debuild -uc -us -rfakeroot
I'll try to see if we cant do something with jimi but I think it's
non-free. If it's not a problem fop stay [forever] in contrib, we can
have a libjimi-java package in non free and build fop with it. Also, it
can be 'only' suggested by fop (not required).
