Bug#259155: tomcat4: catalina.out has turned into a named pipe!

Ah; I wondered whether I had seen something like this at some point. This
also explains what happened. IIRC, I had intended to install 4.0.4 but,
because of my apt setup, had brought in 4.1.* instead. I then downgraded
to 4.0.4 which, presumably, left the named pipe in situ but was then
unable to deal with it.
If this is correct, then it's definitely a bug, but probably not one worth
fixing.
