importdiff.sh script doesn't detect deleted files ?

Hi all,

I just tested the importdiff.sh script on my rhino package revision.
The script copies all the changed files to the cvs directory.

However I removed one patch file in the debian/patches directory with
this new revision - but this file was not deleted from the cvs
directory.

Do I have to do this by hand ? Otherwise this file would be part of a
commit, or ?

Sorry for stupid questions, but better one question than messing up
CVS.
