Those are the defaults on ppc64, yes.
I still do not understand what you mean. Why should replacing
'libgcj4-dev' with 'libgcj-dev' break anything?
The gcc-defaults package will take care that the default gcc/g++, gcj
and libgcj-dev versions work together. What is wrong with that?
