Adopting libapache-mod-jk and libapache2-mod-jk2

Yes, we are aware of that.

Work has already started and packages are mostly ready. I was on
vacation the last two weeks and there are some more packages which need
attention (we can always need helping hands with java related
packages in debian)

Short story: If you are interested in helping out you are really
welcome to comaintain the tomcat connectors together with us in
the pkg-java project.

I will provide you with the packages when I come home from work this
evening. They mostly need some testing and I would also be glad to
receive some comments on how a possible transition from the "old"
mod-jk2 packages to the "new" mod-jk package for apache2 could
be made (if possible at all).
