Thanks for your bug report. Unfortunately I found this bug too after
3.1.1-8 was uploaded
and I tried to fix the handling of the '-vm' argument to this script.
The fix will be in the next
upload called 3.1.1-9.

Sorry, that we have so much trouble lately with this stuff. It all began
after 3.1.1-6 ...
