Unable to commit to SVN repo for pkg-java

Team, I tried a commit to the new Subversion repository last in the
java-package this morning and received the following error.  Who would
be able to rectify that?

Sending        debian/changelog
Sending        debian/rules
Transmitting file data ..svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Can't open file '/svn/pkg-java/db/write-lock': Permission denied
