Well, it seems that eclipse should be able to run with kaffe :

13:39 < waldi> svenl: write a bug, it runs properly with kaffe
13:39 < waldi> but it does not build

but due to dependency problems, it will only install with :

  eclipse-platform: Depends: j2re1.4 or
                             j2re1.3 or
                             java2-runtime
Depends: libswt2.1-gtk2-java but it is not going to be installed or
                             libswt2.1-java
Depends: libeclipse-jni (= 2.1.3-4) but it is not installable

Friendly,

Sven Luther

Hello all,

I tested to install and run Eclipse with current kaffe in unstable.
It installed fine and worked with kaffe-jthreads. kaffe-pthreads gave an
assertion but that is a kaffe bug, not an eclipse bug. I will file a bug
against kaffe.

Therefor I close the bugs against eclipse concerning kaffe.

Thanks for your reports.

Cheers,
Michael
