Then nice is still broken in a release-critical way; kaffe's bug may or may
not be release-critical, but if it were, I would expect to see a lot more
reports of this same failure on other packages.
If nice can build successfully with gij or sablevm, then it seems like the
obvious workaround would be to switch the package to actually build-depend
on one of these.
