eclipse filed 500MiB and goes into an endless loop if it can't write new
files. Many machines will not have this amount of free space available
and it a denial of service against other tools which needs some
temporary bytes in /tmp. Also it is not possible to use TMPDIR to use
another directory. So it breaks unrelated software.
