Hi,

[Please honor Mail-Followup-To and Cc me on replies; I am not subscribed
to this list.]

FYI: I am working on getting a tomcat5.5 Debian package to work with the
Sun Java Runtime Environment on a supportable Debian system (like e.g.
Debian sarge).

Up to now, I've managed to produce something which just might work on
sid with kaffe (making very heavy use of the excellent work by Wolfgang
Baer and Arnaud Vandyck). Next step will be to port this to sarge and
Sun JRE.

My (untested bleeding edge) stuff is available from
http://non-gnu.uvt.nl/debian/scratch/. Since I guess more people have
customers demanding tomcat5.5 on a Sun JRE, and would like to get such a
setup working, I'm publishing it. Of course, I'm very interested in
feedback/war-stories/hints.

Bye,

Joost
