Package: tomcat5.5
Version: 5.5.17-1
Severity: important
during the boot up the tomcat script fails to bring tomcat up
the message (could get it from start up so pasting from the script itself :)
)
echo "Could not start $DESC because no Java Development Kit"
echo "(JDK) was found. Please download and install JDK
1.3or higher and set"
echo "JAVA_HOME in $DEFAULT to the JDK's installation
directory."
after startup is complete am able to start up tomcat by
/etc/init.d/tomcat5.5 start
Starting Tomcat 5 servlet engine using Java from /usr/lib/jvm/java-
1.5.0-sun-1.5.0.08: tomcat5.5.
offcourse i can set JAVA_HOME in as suggested by the scripts message but it
must do so automatically :)
