For what it's worth, this bug also reproduces for me.  My steps to 
reproduce are more or less identical to those of Wolfgang, except for 
the fact that Wolfgang's is a minimal testcase; in my case, trying to 
install mvnForum 1.0.2 fails due to this bug, but mvnForum happens to be 
a lot of code.  Removing unreproducible and moreinfo so this'll get a 
fresh look, now that two people other than reporter have confirmed it, 
and there's a minimal testcase.
