Hi Kurt,

I can build the package without problem here. Can you provide the conf log:
[...]
*** Java compilation tools *** checking JAVA_HOME...
/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj checking for sablevm... NONE
checking for kaffe... NONE checking for javac...
/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/javac /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/javac
checking wether the Java compiler (/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/javac) works... yes
checking for jar... /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/jar
gcc flags added
[...]

Are you on a amd64 or something? Maybe gcj has problem on this arch, I
don't know the details but I saw some mails about it (Paul?)

Cheers,
