Bug#490680: Dangling symlinks after update

Hello, 
I experienced the same issue. I updated from the sun-java5-* packages to 
openjdk-6-* on my Debian Lenny (using pinning), but the /etc/alternatives/* 
symlinks (including those related to the *-javaplugin.so alternatives) were 
not updated.

I ran the following command:

apt-get --purge remove sun-java5-jre openjdk-6-jdk+ icedtea-gcjwebplugin+

Apart from this issue, apt-get executed successfully, and the execution of

update-java-alternatives -s java-6-openjdk

fixed the dangling symlinks.
