Hi Marcus, 

I tested with cacao-oj6-jre I got from testing (apt-get -t squeeze 
cacao-oj6-jre), as it's not available in lenny.

I got the same answer: 

debjava:~# /etc/init.d/tomcat5.5 start

In case this can have an influence: during the install, in taskel, I 
deselected the "Standard System" choice; I plan to have a really minimum 
system, on which I install only the packages I need.
