Bug#545674: Workaround

We stumbled upon a workaround. Edit the file /etc/inint.d/tomcat6
and around line 70 you find
  TOMCAT6_SECURITY=yes
Change that to 
  TOMCAT6_SECURITY=no

Actually I am not sure of the implications of this, but it allows us to
continue devloping on this box.

Not suggesting that you will do this, but maybe the information will
be useful in debugging.
