should be 3.8.3.

These two should point to your repository, not upstream.

debian/copyright is obviously missing...

debian/rules: the get-orig-source target does not work (missing watch file).

Are you using git-svn to mirror the upstream repo (which IIRC is using svn), or just importing sources manually?
