Seems unlikely that they would break API in a minor version of logback, so 
it shouldn't be a problem.

I notice that the Aduna sources come without buildscripts but with a 
pom.xml. Debian has support for Maven builds now (see maven-debian-helper) 
so maybe that can be useful.
