Hi Torsten,

It wasn't my intention to offend you.  I'm not demanding anything,
I would just like the package to conform to Debian policy (not
just for the sake of it, but because changing the encryption
strength from the default is a commonly desired configuration
change which would be more convenient to do in the standard Debian
way).

Although I'm not able to take up your invitation to become a
maintainer due to other commitments, the small contribution I am
able to make is a patch that I believe fixes this policy
violation.  Working around the problem with dpkg-divert is less
convenient and means the policy violation still remains.

Thanks for all the work you do in maintaining this package; I do
appreciate it.  I regret not saying that earlier, and the fact
that I disagree with your decision about this bug does not
subtract from that appreciation in the least.
