In my case this is caused by jh_manifest:
% ./javatut.jar

% jh_manifest -cnet.zabuchy.Main javatut.jar
% chmod +x javatut.jar
% ./javatut.jar
Error! CRCs do not match! Got 1a6cd7b3, expected 0
