Bug#607050: hurts me too

This bug just hurt one of our servers too. I don't care how you fix it, but
I would appreciate a fix in the near future. I don't like to set up logrotate
to handle this, possibly conflicting with a future Debian fix. So I rotate 
it manually every month or so, until a fix magically appears...
