Question about compiling java using launchpad

Hello I do not know if I can help, I downloaded from this ppa
<https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sun-java6> files
java6_6.26.orig.tar.gz sun-and-sun-java6_6.26 1lucid1.debian.tar.gz I
extracted them both to a folder so as to debian and find the folder 2.
bin file, then I launched a terminal ./jdk160_26_i586.bin precise name
and I do not remember him checked out and I put the folder in the folder
and then I changed the debian changelog file, and I gave debuild binary,
but the compilation stops immediately why?
OS: Ubuntu 10.4 32 bits
