This probably hasn't come up before because the package builds correctly
in a clean sid chroot. I'm not sure whether this should be treated as a
FTBFS bug or not. The package builds consistently, there are just some
(reasonable?) limitations placed on the build environment.
You could add a Build-Conflicts [1] against antlr3.
