Dear Felix,

Thank you for your answer and suggestions. I added the following lines to the .bashrc and now fonts are looking better:
  export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on'
  export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=lcd'
  export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=gasp'

I also switched to OpenJDK7 and the new Freeplane version and I'll play a little to know it better. Thank you for your time and work!
