Package: libjaudiotagger-java
Version: 2.0.3-1
Severity: minor
I was looking for a good Java library in Debian that can interface with MP3
files. Therefore I did a quick search with aptitude for packages in the the
'java' section with 'mp3' in their description. libjaudiotagger-java looked
interesting, so I used aptitude to show the package details and copy/pasted the
homepage into a web browser. I got 'server not found'. According to a quick
Google search, the Jaudiotagger homepage moved from
https://jaudiotagger.dev.java.net/ to http://www.jthink.net/jaudiotagger/
sometime in 2007. The homepage listed in this package redirected properly until
sometime in 2011 (according archive.org), but it obviously no longer works.
In short, the project's homepage moved from https://jaudiotagger.dev.java.net/
to http://www.jthink.net/jaudiotagger/
