Package: java-package
Version: 0.50+nmu2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The generated "Provides" line in control file contains always the packages "java2-runtime" and "java2-runtime-headless" independent of the version
of the JRE/JDK you have packaged. This is not correct. The pattern of valid values is described here: https://wiki.debian.org/Java/. So a Java6 JDK
for example should provide "java6-runtime" and "java6-runtime-headless" and Java7 "java7-runtime" and "java7-runtime-headless" etc.

Please generate the "Provides" line dependent on version you are packing.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Sebastian
