You are right, actually. The FTBFS is not related to the network
connexion. What I did is the following:
apt-get build-dep scala
apt-get source scala
cd scala-*
dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc
and I still have a FTBFS, even with the network.
I do have scala installed (from the debian package), but my
/usr/share/maven-repo is not populated. I would expect that the build
dependencies would gather what is needed before the beginning of the
build.
It may still be related to a problem with my local installation
(although I don't think so). I will try to build in a fresh pbuild to
be certain, if time permits.
