This package fails to build with default-jdk pointing to openjdk-9-jdk.

Upstream are aware of this issue and working on it:
https://github.com/scala/scala-dev/issues/139

This definitely breaks at least these packages:

 * latexdraw
 * plm
 * scala-parser-combinators
 * scala-xml

And presumably:

 * scala-asm
 * scala-library
