I'm a bit surprised because we applied the same changes to Tomcat 8 in
Jessie and we got the confirmation that everything works fine. [1]

Looking at the file history of AbstractInputBuffer.java I can see now
that they made another change to the nextRequest function and I presume
this change is crucial. I would appreciate it if you could apply this
patch [2] to your tomcat7 packages and try if it solves your issue. If
this is a burden for you, I can also provide binary packages. Please let
me know.
