Dear Maintainer,

As mentioned on the list [0], the change in ant (1.10.3-2) to
automatically set the value of the javac --release attribute breaks the
josm build.

Please revent this change which is not included upstream.

IMHO it's perfectly fine to require JRE 9 or later when building with
JDK 9 or later. JDK 8 is EOL for ordinary humans.
