As far as I can tell, this should fail with any Java 11...

Package version 11~22-2

openjdk version "11" 2018-09-25

OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11+22-Debian-2)

OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11+22-Debian-2, mixed mode, sharing)

jshell> System.getProperty("java.specification.version")
$1 ==> "11"

Git commons-lang has a fallback for future version numbers > 10 (along 
with a hard-coded case for 11):
