If that helps you can still download the previous binaries from
snapshot.debian.org:

   http://snapshot.debian.org/package/icedtea-web/

But Java applets are history now, there isn't much point still
supporting NPAPI. I suggest contacting the author of the applet and
requesting an alternative.
