Hi,
I've noticed the same problem on bulleye:
* Stefan Bühler <stefan.buehler at tik.uni-stuttgart.de> [201219 13:52]:
> logrotate fails with:
>
> logrotate[5006]: error: skipping "/var/log/tomcat9/catalina.out" because parent directory has insecure permissions (It's world writable or writable by group which is not "root") Set "su" directive in config file to tell logrotate which user/group should be used for rotation.
Raising severity to important as this causes the logrotate.service
unit to remain in failed state.
Best,
Chris
