Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The version of JabRef available in official debian repositories is ANCIENT. It
is stagnated at 3.8.2 while upstream is at version 5.15 (two MAJOR versions
ahead!).

Is there a particular reason why this package has been held like this?

Please update.

Thanks.
