Bug#1030150: freeplane fails to start with java 18 (openJDK 18)

Hi,

Since Freeplane is stil one of the few good Mind Mapping tools out 
there. I would really like it to get this bug fixed and keep Freeplane 
available.

Is it possible to build the current upstream version. Or do we need a 
patch to make it work with Gradle 4.4?
