Package: libjackson2-databind-java
Version: 2.14.0-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainers,
This binary package currently has its classes compiled with -target 17, which
makes it incompatible with older JDKs and some libraries still needed for
building large projects, e.g. the newer releases of Gradle I'm currently
working on.
> com/fasterxml/jackson/databind/JsonSerializer.class: compiled Java class
data, version 61.0 (Java SE 17)
A patch will follow.
A set of import/merge/upload requests to update jackson-core and jackson-
databind to the latest upstream release (2.18.1, 2024-10-28) should also follow
today.
Best regards,
