There is a maintained fork of obantoo by the author of hibiscus at [1],
which includes uptodate BLZ data.
I have built packages based on todays git snapshot at [2] and they solve
the issues I've had (C24 bank with DEFFDEFFXXX BIC wasn't accepted).

Would it be a possibility to switch to that as an upstream?
