Bug#1143946: Missing versionless artifacts in libslf4j2-java

Dear maintainer,

The libslf4j2-java deploys several jar files under /usr/share/java but 
none of them provide a versionless link.

This makes it difficult to integrate on classpaths in a number of 
Clojure library packages which are dependencies of Puppet Server and 
PuppetDB.

Would it be possible to provide those, eg. using a prefix like slf4j2-*, 
to avoid conflicts libslf4j-java?

If not, is there a plan to retire slf4j 1.x and move the versionless 
links to this package?
