I was really surprised that the creation of a tomcat6-package was issued in
March 2007 (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=413906">http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=413906</a>) and
the package database still contains only a source package
"libservlet2.5-java".

I'm not very familar with the whole process of adding new packages to the
repository, but I would be very happy to see a tomcat6-package that is as
easy to install as the previous versions (tomcat5, tomcat 5.5, and so on)
within the next weeks - at least in an unstable or testing version.

Greetings
