[Pkg-javascript-devel] Putting YUI under group maintainership

As I was preparing the latest version of the Yahoo! User Interface toolkit 
package, I noticed that there is a javascript maintainers group.  As I am 
a big fan of group maintainership, can I join?  If so what do I need to 
do/what guidelines should I follow in order to place the yui package under 
the groups maintainership?  (I am already about to rename it to libjs-yui 
and use javascript-common.)
