Different packages.  There is no clean upgrade path from the 2.x API to 
3.x.

Cool. Thanks, I'll add it.  Are you at all interested in becoming a 
co-maintainer?  As you may have noticed, I am having difficulty keeping 
this package up to date.  Some extra help would be quite welcome.
