The benefit is not obfuscation but compression.  It generally improves 
user experience due to shorter download time.

I find it comparable to compilation: If it leads to corrupted code then 
it is a FTBFS!

This package uses yui-compressor.  Please consider using uglifyjs (from 
package libnode-uglify) instead, as TTBOMK it is more reliable.
