But:

$ cat /etc/javascript-common/javascript-common.conf
Alias /javascript /usr/share/javascript/

<Directory "/usr/share/javascript/">
	Options FollowSymLinks MultiViews
</Directory>

So it might be the case if you deliberately don't use that. I wouldn't
consider that an issue.
